Requesting a Takedown
If someone is using your registered work without permission, IPBLOCK gives you the tools to respond quickly and effectively.
With your on-chain proof and legal certificates, you can issue a takedown request against the infringing content, without needing a lawyer or legal team.
What You Need to Request a Takedown
To start the takedown process, make sure you have the following:
The blockchain transaction ID from your IPBLOCK registration
Your PDF certificate and Copyrighted.com certificate
A link to the infringing content or platform where the stolen work appears
A short description of the issue and your proof of ownership
How It Works
Submit a Takedown Request Fill out a form on the IPBLOCK dashboard or contact our support team. Include all required documentation.
We Review and Verify Our team will check your IPBLOCK certificate and verify that your claim is valid.
Action is Taken We prepare and submit a DMCA takedown notice to the platform or hosting provider where the infringement occurred. If necessary, we provide you with templates or official letters to send.
Content is Removed Most platforms respond within a few days. Once the takedown is approved, the infringing content is removed.
Platforms Supported
IPBLOCK takedown support covers most major platforms, including:
Social media (X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
NFT marketplaces
Art and content platforms (Behance, Dribbble, etc.)
Hosting providers and website owners
Why It Works
Because your registration includes both a blockchain timestamp and a verified legal certificate, platforms are more likely to act on your request without delay. You’re not just claiming ownership — you’re proving it.
